Using GisterChat

These terms govern your use of GisterChat. Use the service only if you can enter a binding agreement and are authorized to act for any business and Facebook Page you connect. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Your account and Pages

Provide accurate information, protect your login, and connect only Pages you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for your templates, destination websites, media, and communications. One GisterChat account may connect multiple Pages; a Page may be assigned to only one GisterChat account at a time. Ownership disputes and transfers require verification through support.

Permitted use

Follow applicable laws and Meta's terms, permissions, and messaging rules. Do not send spam, impersonate others, collect data without appropriate authorization, bypass access restrictions, distribute harmful or unlawful content, or interfere with the service. Obtain any consent required for the messages and personal information you handle.

How automations work

Automations respond according to enabled templates and available Meta events and permissions. A welcome reply is triggered by the first incoming message recorded for a sender and Page, rather than simply opening a conversation. A stored contact is not permission to send unrestricted future messages. You must review and test automations before enabling them for customers.

Your content and data

You retain your rights in content you supply and grant us permission to process it as needed to provide the service. You must have the rights to use that content. Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices. Additional contractual arrangements may be needed for your business's handling of customer data.

Beta service and third parties

GisterChat is a beta service. Features may change, and availability or message delivery is not guaranteed. Meta permissions, business verification, and review decisions are controlled by Meta. Hosting and authentication depend on third-party services. GisterChat is not endorsed by Meta, and connecting a Page does not establish Meta approval for public use.

Fees

No subscription price or paid plan is established by these terms. Any future paid service will disclose its price, billing conditions, and cancellation terms before you agree to purchase it.

Disconnecting, deletion, and suspension

You can stop automations, disconnect a Page, or delete your account. Disconnect and account deletion permanently remove the associated records from the active application database, including templates and saved contacts. Reconnecting does not restore deleted records. We may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security incidents, or legal or platform requirements. Where practical and permitted, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us.

Service limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, duties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not authorize you to breach obligations to your own customers.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops and will communicate material changes through the service or account email as appropriate. Contact us if you have a concern or need help closing an account. Applicable mandatory laws remain in force.
